Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers
Complete Care is a proud member of the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers (TAFEC). It is the first statewide association in the U.S. formed to represent freestanding emergency centers to state leaders and to ensure fair regulation of the industry. This association works diligently to promote the many benefits of freestanding ERs to the general public.
TAFEC currently has over 30 member companies which represent over 150 facilities across the state of Texas.
The mission of the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers is to champion fair regulation in the emergency care industry for freestanding ERs. Its members work hard to make certain that all Texans have timely access to high-quality emergency care.
TAFEC members provide licensed ERs that are open 24 hours a day and are fully equipped to handle minor and major emergencies. They provide skilled emergency room services with minimal waiting.
TAFEC and its members believe that with a united voice, freestanding emergency rooms can speak clearly towards legislation when licensure laws are discussed so as to make certain all Texans have timely access to high-quality emergency medical care. Complete Care is a proud member and supports TAFEC’s mission and advocacy vision.
