Fossil Creek Complete Care hosted a Teddy Bear Clinic and Touch a Truck event at Alphabetz Montessori School in San Antonio on July 29, with assistance from Republic EMS. The community outreach activity gave approximately 30 children and staff members an engaging opportunity to learn about healthcare, emergency care, and emergency medical services in a comfortable and age-appropriate environment.
During the Teddy Bear Clinic, children used teddy bears and stethoscopes to explore basic medical care through imaginative play. Republic EMS supported the Touch a Truck portion of the event by providing an ambulance that children could explore while learning more about emergency medical professionals and the important role they play in the community.
The children’s excitement was one of the most memorable parts of the event. From caring for their teddy bears to exploring the ambulance, the activities helped make healthcare feel more familiar and approachable.

Fossil Creek Complete Care also shared information with school staff about its local healthcare services and the availability of 24-hour emergency care for children and adults. The event also strengthened an ongoing community partnership. Fossil Creek Complete Care continues to provide CPR and first aid training for Alphabetz Montessori School staff, helping enhance emergency preparedness and support a safer school environment.
