Information About Medicare and Tricare

Complete Care and other state-licensed freestanding emergency centers are currently unable to qualify for Medicare and Tricare recognition or reimbursement from government payers. We are actively working to get this changed in Congress with the Emergency Care Improvement Act (HR 3134). You can help by reaching out to your legislator in the US House of Representatives. Please ask them to support this bipartisan bill so more people have access to timely emergency care.

He carries the mission of Complete Emergency Care – to provide timely, affordable and high-quality medical care to San Antonio area residents. Oftentimes, a hospital-based ER has patients enduring long wait times to see a doctor. In our 24-hour emergency room in San Antonio, Dr. Vu delivers the same emergency room care found in a hospital ER but with a fraction of the wait time.

Under the Baby Moses Law, parents are allowed to surrender their babies younger than 60 days at a hospital, fire station, free-standing emergency center, or EMS station. If you have a newborn that you’re unable to care for, you can bring your baby to a designated safe place with no questions asked; our 24-hour emergency room in San Antonio on Culebra Rd. is one of these designated safe places.
