Complete Care Brooks City Base supported the Fin Addict Angler Foundation Youth Fishing Clinic at Padre Park, providing outdoor, heat, and water safety education to approximately 65 children and family members.
Hosted by the Fin Addict Angler Foundation in partnership with San Antonio River Authority, the community event introduced children to fishing while promoting environmental stewardship and responsible outdoor recreation. Participants learned how to cast a fishing rod, tie a fishing hook, care for the surrounding land, and practice important safety measures while spending time outdoors and near the water.
Complete Care Brooks City Base operated a safety station where team members led eight minute educational rotations covering heat safety, proper hydration, life jacket use, and basic first aid preparedness. Families also received Complete Care backpacks, children’s coloring sheets, and access to first aid supplies throughout the event.
The safety lessons helped children understand the importance of drinking water regularly, recognizing the risks associated with outdoor heat, wearing a properly fitted life jacket near water, and knowing when to seek help during an emergency.
Republic EMS also participated in the event, helping strengthen the clinic’s focus on safety, preparedness, and community education.

The Fin Addict Angler Foundation organizes fishing clinics and educational programs designed to develop fishing skills while reinforcing conservation, outdoor ethics, and respect for natural resources.
