Complete Care Fossil Creek Brings Spooky Ambulance Fun and Community Connection to Copperfield Elementary Fall Festival

CONVERSE, TX — October 2026

Complete Care Fossil Creek joined Copperfield Elementary School and Republic EMS on Thursday, October 22, 2026, for a Fall Festival that welcomed approximately 400 families. Represented by Laurie Lerma, Complete Care supported the school celebration with a Touch a Truck Spooky Ambulance experience, photo opportunities, and an information table.

Hosted by Copperfield Elementary School, a Judson Independent School District campus in Converse, the festival brought families together for an evening of seasonal activities and community involvement. Copperfield Elementary School Complete Care’s participation connected its San Antonio emergency care team with students and families beyond the walls of the emergency room.

Through the partnership with Republic EMS, the ambulance display offered a welcoming setting for children and families to become more familiar with an emergency vehicle. Photo opportunities added to the celebration, while the information table gave attendees a chance to connect with Laurie and learn about Complete Care.

“Being part of events like this gives us an opportunity to connect with families in a setting where they feel comfortable,” said Laurie Lerma, Regional Marketing Liaison for Complete Care. “We appreciate Copperfield Elementary welcoming us and Republic EMS helping bring the Spooky Ambulance experience to the school community.”

School events create opportunities for local healthcare providers to build relationships with the people they serve. Meeting families outside a medical setting can encourage conversation, strengthen familiarity, and help residents learn about healthcare resources before they need them.

“Giving back starts with showing up and taking an active role in the community,” said George Reainthong, Director of Marketing and Growth at Complete Care. “Supporting local schools allows us to build meaningful connections with families and contribute to the events that bring their neighborhoods together. We appreciate Laurie and Republic EMS for helping make that connection possible.”
