Star ER proudly participated in the 3rd Annual Healthwise Expo hosted by KCBD on May 30, 2026, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, engaging with thousands of community members and providing valuable health and wellness education.
The annual event served as a one-stop resource for individuals and families seeking healthcare information, wellness resources, and guidance on healthy living. Approximately 4,000 attendees participated in the expo, with more than 1,500 visitors stopping by the Star ER booth throughout the day.
Representing Star ER were Tracie Nichols, Nurse Manager, and Tresa Hull, PAS Supervisor. Visitors had the opportunity to participate in the interactive “Test Your Health IQ” game while learning more about emergency care services, insurance coverage, and the resources available to patients seeking emergency medical treatment.
Throughout the event, the Star ER team answered questions, shared healthcare information, and connected with community members who stopped by to learn more about the facility’s services. Team members also enjoyed hearing stories from attendees who shared positive experiences from previous visits to Star ER.
