CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — August 2026
TLC Complete Care partnered with Republic EMS and the Corpus Christi Independent School District to provide Heartsaver CPR and AED certification training for 16 CCISD staff members at Richard King High School, located at 5225 Gollihar Road in Corpus Christi.
The community education class was created for CCISD band directors, cheer instructors, and drill team instructors who regularly work with students during practices, performances, school events, and other activities. All 16 participants completed the course and received certification.
Jared Zuniga of Republic EMS led the training, which focused on CPR and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator. The class provided participants with practical emergency response education designed to help them respond with greater confidence during a cardiac emergency.

The certification class was part of TLC Complete Care’s ongoing partnership with CCISD and reflected a shared commitment to community education, emergency preparedness, and student safety. Ann Marie Bellows helped coordinate the community outreach initiative on behalf of TLC Complete Care.
