Meet the medical director for our Corpus Christi ER

Danell Stuckey, M.D

Danell Stuckey, M.D.

Dr. Danell Stuckey serves as Medical Director of TLC Complete Care in Corpus Christi and has practiced emergency medicine for 11 years. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Stuckey completed her family medicine residency at CHRISTUS Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, where she served as chief resident. She is board certified in family medicine and is an experienced emergency trained physician.

Before accepting the medical director position at TLC Complete Care, Dr. Stuckey cared for patients at Complete Care facilities in San Antonio. Returning to Corpus Christi gave her the opportunity to serve a community with which she has a longstanding connection. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting the beach, participating in water activities, and fishing.

Under the Baby Moses Law, parents are allowed to surrender babies younger than 60 days at a hospital, fire station, free-standing emergency center, or EMS station. If you have a newborn that you’re unable to care for, you can bring your baby to a designated safe place with no questions asked; TLC Complete Care’s emergency room in Corpus Christi is one of these designated safe places.
