23-Hour Observation and Care

Complete Care offers 23-Hour Observation Care for patients who need additional time for monitoring, testing, and evaluation before a final care decision is made. As a freestanding emergency room, Complete Care is equipped to provide observation-level care without requiring transfer to a hospital.

Our emergency physicians and clinical team monitor your condition closely, review diagnostic results, and determine the safest next step, all in a comfortable, fully equipped environment.

What is observation care?

Observation care is a period of continued medical monitoring for patients who require further evaluation but do not immediately need hospital admission. During observation, our physicians and clinical team:

  • Continue to assess your condition
  • Monitor your response to treatment
  • Review diagnostic results
  • Determine the safest plan for your care

Our goal is to provide timely, compassionate emergency care while giving your physician the information needed to make the best medical decision for your health.

When might observation care be recommended?

Every patient is unique, and the need for observation depends on your medical condition and your physician’s clinical assessment. Observation care may be recommended for:

  • Chest pain or cardiac symptoms requiring extended monitoring
  • Head injuries or concussions requiring neurological observation
  • Allergic reactions that need continued evaluation after treatment
  • Infections requiring IV medications and clinical reassessment
  • Dehydration requiring IV fluids and monitoring
  • Asthma or respiratory conditions requiring ongoing assessment
  • Abdominal pain requiring repeat examinations or imaging

Throughout your observation stay, our emergency physicians and clinical team will continue to monitor your condition, answer your questions, and keep you informed about your care every step of the way.
